Selfmadegod Records has just inked a deal with revolutionary grindcore act, BRUTAL BLUES, and released their self-titled debut mini-album.

A maniacal duo comprised of guitarist/vocalist Steinar (Psudoku, Parlamentarisk Sodomi, BxSxRx) and drummer/vocalist Anders (Blodsprut, Moha!, Noxagt, Ultralyd), BRUTAL BLUES unleashes blisteringly fast, raw, cutting-edge grindcore, and those familiar with the members’ previous acts should expect nothing less than sonic devastation. Their self-titled debut release was recorded DIY at the legendary Rifferiet in Norway and mixed by Anders, and the artwork designed by Steinar and Leon Tomatis.

OK - this is some outside the box weird shit right here. Complete chaos and tension from the start, you just try and hang on till the end of this diverse EP. Doug Moore's batshit vocals tower over everything. I once excitedly described the first 3 songs on this disc to a friend as "a tech-death approach influenced by Trout Mask Replica-era Beefheart."
