The 9 tracks A presents are heavy on blast beats & punk-flavored riffs, broiled over a bass-heavy sound quality & guttural yelps in which the archetypal aura of old-school grindcore is manifested. On SM’s 7 tracks, hardcore punk inclinations are clear in the guitar tone’s bite; yet grindcore elements abound: blast beats are constant, & the riffing style tends to emulate the guitar parts of A’s side.
