One of life's greatest deceptions is that HoB didn't carry on longer (even if Herxheim is great). We can only wonder what type of aural monstrosities they would have come up with. Their disjointed occult sound and stitched compositions are truly unique and will never be replicated. One of the truly unique, don't-give-a-fuck bands. Plug in this masterpiece and be immersed in their eldritch world. Deadpanist

Listening to this on shrooms was haunting, which made it into a serious trip! Which was a mistake I was not prepared for. I do have something to say about it though on why I think it such. I have personally experienced several tipi ceremonies. One would stay up through the night, consuming peyote, doing in some sense a molting process and does so by connecting you to the spirit world.
This album does this, but different - I say it transcends that experience, and does it well... On shrooms.

This is the most personally appealing piece of music I have run into in a long time - from the beautiful lyrics and art and the crushing, non pretentious gorgeous heavy music. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, crushing - are there are other words? Gorgeous, exquisite.... sock4never
